| The rest of the tour was peaceful and uneventful. Every night we had great good as well as entertainments. The last night, our group even performed the "Yellow Submarine," and Bervern (wonderful on the piano) and I performed "Moon River".... The aussie girls also performed two additional numbers which I now forget. Meg Parrish (wife of Frank Parrish - the marine biologist whose work involving Hawaiian monk seals I'd learn later was featured in a National Geographic Special called "Saving Paradise") also performed a "real Hawaiian hoola dance" for all of us. |
