The ride today was uneventuful. The scenary was more mellow compared to yesterday, but it was an especially still morning. I did not see a car for almost two hours! I had a great time biking peacefully along the rugged coast in the morning quiet. The traffic remained light until near Hearst Castle, where I made a little side trip to the Visitor Center and watched a National Geographic IMAX presentation. Neat!
Tomorrow I visit San Luis Obispo. As I contemplate L.A., I am thinking I should bike it after all (despite my familiarlity with it) because I have a bad taste from bypassing the Bay Area and don't to have that from L.A. also...
